A huge welcome from the new Year 5 2023-24 class.  The children have adapted well to life in P5 and are working very hard through our first term to achieve all the goals, rules and target we set. As we progress this November – October we will endeavour to work hard on our key literacy and numeracy skills whilst developing other areas of the curriculum. Our first topic is called ‘Prove it,’ were we delve into our past, looking at archaeological evidence with a focus on the Stone Age. This topic links in well with our literacy writing. In Numeracy we are progressing our time knowledge, formal multiplication methods and money.

We have also begun our  P5 ‘Resilience Club’ every Monday from ‘3.00pm-4.00pm.’

Our wonderful resources of Class Dojo, Nessy, AR , Mathletics, Google Classroom and C2k Newsdesk continue to be available.
