Welcome to Year 4

Hello everyone! It is great to be back together again in school after lockdown. We have all had very different experiences over the past number of months but undoubtedly share thankfulness to be safe and well. This pandemic has taught us to count our many little blessings in life. Our start of term is somewhat different from other years but hopefully everyone is getting used to our social distancing rules, staying in our class bubbles and having our staggered drop off and collection times. The children in Year 4 have made a great start! They are remembering to wash their hands and sanitise for the recommended 20secs.  During Term 1 we will be learning about ‘Living Things’. We will be reading the ‘Hodgeheg’ by Dick King Smith and will be finding out about better road safety which is a apt considering our split school site across busy Francis Street.  Hopefully as this term progresses we will be having Roads Service talks on road safety. Check out our online pictures to see all the Year 4 boys and girls taking part in our daily mile. We all enjoy getting out and about each day and you can easily see from all those smiling faces that everyone is happy to be back together in St Eugene’s PS!
