Welcome to Year 1

Welcome to our Primary One class. Our teacher is called Miss Dorrian. We are learning lots in Primary One. Currently our Theme is ‘A Time to Rhyme’, we are learning different nursery rhymes and all about our favourite Nursery rhyme characters. During numeracy lessons we have been exploring the numbers 1, 2 and 3 and sorting our toys by colour and shape. Learning through play is very important in Primary One, we are able to develop our creativity and imagination. We use our I-pad to play games when we are learning our letters and numbers and, of course, recording our hard work.

Even though we are busy bees in Year 1, we never forget to have fun! We help each other each day to become the best that we can bee!
