This week we had the privilege of welcoming back our past pupil Eoghan Heraghty to St Eugene’s Primary School. Eoghan played a huge role in the success of the Steelstown team in recent times which saw them win Derry, Ulster and All Ireland titles. A massive and unprecedented achievement for a team from our city.
Eoghan took the best part of his Tuesday afternoon to answer a huge amount of questions from our ever inquisitive children. He was modest, funny and encouraging with his approach and answers. We are all hugely grateful for the time and care he took to represent our school and his club. A real gentleman.
