This event is one of the highlights of the school year for our pupils. We celebrated by visiting our local bookstore Little Acorns on Wednesday to receive our free World Book Day books from Jenni. The whole school took part in a book cover art competition and there were prizes for the best in each class along with prizes for the best home-made costume in each class.
Today P1-6 had an online art lesson with Paddy Donnelly, P7 had a storytelling session from Peter Heaney (local author) in Waterstones Bookstore and the day ended with our annual World Book Day Quiz hosted by the quizmaster extraordinaire Mr. Mc Kenna!
Even the staff get involved, we had 3 blind mice and the farmers wife, Where's Wally, Mrs. Twit and Maleficent to name a few!
