And that’s a wrap for this year’s ‘Big Walk and Wheel’!
Our pupils put a huge effort into the two-week active travel challenge this year, with an average of 70% taking part.
We made over 1200 active journeys this year, smashing last year’s record of 932.
We’ve walked, rolled, cycled and scooted every day. Our Walking Bus has been a hit and everyone has loved the daily class prizes and poster competition.
Many congratulations to all our pupils for your great efforts; and a sincere word of thanks also to parents / carers, who have been so supportive of this initiative.
