I would just like to shout out my wonderful P7 class for a number of things:
- We have 6 out of our class in the top 20 of Mathletics- they are Abdul, Nelson, Shea, Naheem, Brooklyn and Clodagh!
- Not only did we have published poets last week but this week we celebrate Christian and Eimhear who are published chefs having their family recipes published in the book "Grandma's Recipes". You will find their recipes on the Barnardos website over the coming weeks.
- As a class collectively they have a read a staggering 8,950,996 words since September! Watch this space for more Word Millionaires and Half Millionaires!
- They are also leading in the new initiative called "The Big Walk/Wheel" having the most children use "active travel" to school. We do our daily mile religiously everyday also after lunch! Please keep it up and win this! See pics of the daily raffle winners so far. Fatima missing from pics.
- Rex was absent when we posted last week about the Positive People Poets. Super well done to him pictured with a copy of the book with his super poem published in it.
- We had 5 pupils take part in the 1km run today at Nailors Row. Well done to Oisin, Abdul, Emily, Rhia and Joshua.
I think you will all agree that I have a super class with endless talents. Whichever school gets them next year will be very lucky! Keep doing your best P7!
