In Numeracy, we have been learning to estimate and measure.
We used lot of different things to measure including footsteps, handspans and lollypop sticks. We estimated how many lollypop sticks it would take to measure the width and length of our desks. We then estimated how many footsteps and handspans it would take us to get from one side of our classroom to the other. As a class, we measured ourselves from smallest to tallest- this was really tricky but we worked as a team to get it right!
