Looking forward to the Sustrans 'Big Walk and Wheel' 2025! This year, it takes place next week, from Monday 24th March until Friday 4th April. We encourage everyone in our school community to walk, wheel, scoot or roll to school. If you live further away, you can 'park and stride' - park nearby and travel actively for the last bit of your morning journey.
Your bikes and scooters will be stored safely off our school playground, and cycling helmets can be borrowed from school. Please see our map of safe crossings around the area of the school.
We had nearly 950 journeys logged at St. Eugene's during the challenge last year! Looking forward to beating our record in 2025. More information about the Big Walk and Wheel can be found in the attached letter for parents / carers.
