Welcome to Mr McKenna's P5 Class.

A huge welcome to Primary 5 2024-25 class.  The children have adapted well to life in P5 and are working very hard through our first term to achieve all the goals, rules and target we set. As we progress through Sept – October we will endeavour to work hard on our key literacy and numeracy skills whilst developing other areas of the curriculum. Our first topic is called ‘Prove it,’ were we delve into our past, looking at archaeological evidence with a focus on the Stone Age. This topic links in well with our literacy writing. In Numeracy we are progressing our place value, shape and mental maths strategies.
