We are a FairAware School!

St. Eugene’s PS has achieved the Fairtrade Foundation’s ‘FairAware’ award, in recognition of our pupils’ learning and awareness around Fairtrade.

St. Eugene’s PS has achieved the Fairtrade Foundation’s ‘FairAware’ award, in recognition of our pupils’ learning and awareness around Fairtrade. Part of our Global Learning Programme, Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. This award is a great start to our school activities for Fairtrade Fortnight, which takes place from Monday 24 February – Sunday 8 March 2020.
